Matrix Marine has been at the forefront of Australian wakeboarding since the release of the first model, the Sorrento, in 2000.
Since then Matrix boats have towed countless tournaments satisfying national and international ranked wake boarders across Australia. This close affiliation with the sport, along with a focused selection of team riders, has allowed Matrix boats to continually improve and develop a world class boat; not only inside but seventy feet behind the boat, where it counts the most.
BL Marine has sold Matrix boats since 2001.
Manufactured since 1999 in Adelaide. Matrix prides themselves on build quality and attention to detail.
Built with similar process to the major USA brands which include:
- Fibreglass engine bearers rather than timber.
- Stainless Steel studs through the fibreglass engine bearers, mounting the engine to the hull.
- Fibreglass side floors i.e. no timber floors to rot (on some models).
- Foam filled floors which offer brilliant sound deadening qualities (on some models).
- Hull and deck joint is a shoebox design and is then fibreglassed together from the inside.
Custom gelcoat tape ups available.
Inbuilt ballast tanks standard on some models.
Quality fixtures and fittings throughout.
High quality interior fit out including 3 levels of foam in seat cushions and no timber in the seat bases.
